Two Children, Grandmother Shot At Fairfield County Apartment Complex, Police Say

Police are asking the public for help identifying a man who shot into a Fairfield County apartment complex injuring two small children and their grandmother.

The shooting took place around 5:30 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 30 at the PT Barnum Housing Complex in Bridgeport.

The children ages 3 and 7 years old, along with their grandmother, were standing on a balcony of their apartment when four shots were fired in the direction of the building, according to Scott Appleby, director of Emergency Management for the City of Bridgeport.

The suspect was shooting from the area of building No. 5, Appleby said.

The condition of the victims was not known.
